Ron Spencer


Ron is a Chartered Director. He retired after a 30 year career with S. G. Warburg and Co. Ltd and Mercury Asset Management. He is Chair of the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission and holds several non-exec directorships. He is a Scout leader and is Secretary to the Salvation Army Advisory Council on the Island. He has been chair of the Trust since January 2007.

Jennifer Houghton


An experienced multilingual qualified accountant who has worked as a managing director, finance director, company secretary, MLRO and DO, with a successful career in California, Luxembourg, Sweden and the Isle of Man, both in practice and in industry. Has been working within the online gaming sector on the Isle of Man since 2008. Helped to incorporate, license and grow Annexio Limited, a secondary lottery market operator regulated in four jurisdictions. Stepped down as Managing Director in 2016 after having expanded the business and increased staff numbers from three to 50+. Remains a major shareholder of the company. Previously worked 18 years for Deloitte within the banking, insurance and the financial services sectors. Awarded "Isle of Man Business Person of the Year" in 2015; the first woman to win this award. Awarded "International Director of the Year" by the Institute of Directors, Isle of Man Branch, in 2016. Appointed Chairman of the Institute of Directors, Isle of Man Branch, in 2017. Jennifer’s goal is to successfully direct companies within the regulated industry and lead with the principles of good corporate governance.

Neill Angus


Neill has been Finance Director and Head of Business Risk for the AXA Isle of Man Group since 2000. A qualified accountant and risk manager, Neill has significant experience of financial management and corporate governance. Neill was responsible for setting up the AXA Groups' risk management structures and for integrating these within the overall governance structure.

Richard Slee


Richard is PR and Media Relations Manager at the Department of Economic Development, Isle of Man Government. He is an award-winning and creative Chartered Marketer with significant experience of creating and implementing a range of successful major marketing and communications projects.

Andrew Thomas


Andrew is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and is currently Chief Executive of Isle of Man Enterprises plc. He has extensive experience in banking, insurance, property development, and wide ranging commercial expertise in both executive and non-executive roles.

Paul Novellie


Paul has a background in electronic engineering. A South African Attorney and Patent Agent, Paul is a retired English Solicitor, and a Manx Registered Legal Practitioner, having been in law 38 years. He has also been involved in various efforts to develop the Island through Manx Business Connection, and is a Trustee of the Microgaming Health and Care Trust.

Johnny Kipps


Johnny is a South African Chartered Accountant and an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and holds the FT Non-Executive Director's Diploma. He served for six years as Financial Director on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange.

James Davis


James is a renowned local broadcast journalist. He regularly presents Manx Radio’s evening news and current affairs programme, Mandate, and has a wide range of reporting and presentation duties. His newsroom work includes gathering and broadcasting interviews for all Manx Radio's Mandate programmes, compiling and reading the news, covering sport and business and presenting Agenda, a look at the Island's political scene, on Monday evenings.

Mike Hennessy


Mike enjoyed 26 years at HSBC in senior positions before deciding to broaden his horizons as Chief Executive of Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce in 2009. Successes in this role saw Mike awarded the accolade as Isle of Man Business Personality of the Year in 2011. Mike returned to the world of finance in 2013 and has recently moved back to the island from Guernsey where he enjoyed a spell as Head of Banking for the Kleinwort Benson Group.

Maureen Quayle


A Chartered Secretary by profession Maureen is an Executive Director of one of the Island's Corporate Service Providers, Optimus Fuduciaries, which she co-founded on 2002, together with its subsidiaries. She also has other business interests on the island.
